Thomas B. Gore, MD
Dr. Thomas Gore received his bachelor's in chemistry in 1976 from Duke University in Durham, NC. He continued at Duke, receiving his medical degree in 1979 and completing a research fellowship in neurology in 1980.
His residency in internal medicine was completed in 1983 through the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, followed by a fellowship in cardiology completed in 1985 at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
Dr. Gore has been employed with West Georgia Cardiology, formerly Southern CardioPulmonary Associates, since 1985. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease as well as Nuclear Cardiology. He also is certified in Cardiac Pacing, Coronary CT and Cardiovascular MR.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia, Georgia Chapter of American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians, and is a Fellow with the American College of Cardiology.
West Georgia Cardiology provdies prompt new patient cardiac evaluations; in-office stress tests and echocardiograms; advanced imaging in the hospital with 3D-TEE (trans-esophageal echocardiography), cardiac MRI and coronary CT; and continued hospital care of new and established patients.
