Richard S. (Sandy) Simmons, MD, FACP, FCCP

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Richard "Sandy" Simmons is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Sleep Medicine. He graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He also completed his fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Simmons specializes in the treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, lung cancer and sleep disorders.

Medical Director of Ambulatory Services

Dr. Srinivas Bramhadevi is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. A graduate of Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, he completed his residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Monroe, La.

In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice, a designated civil surgeon of the Department of Homeland Security and a former associate clinical professor of Family Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree from Auburn University's Physicians Executive Master of Business Administration Program in 2013.

Medical Director of Hospital Medicine

Dr. Rod Duraski, originally from Columbus, Ga., is a graduate of Auburn University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He interned at St. Louis University Hospital and finished his internal medicine residency at the University of Rochester (NY) School of Medicine. Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he has practiced internal medicine in LaGrange since 1995, and was named Medical Director of West Georgia Medical Center’s Hospital Medicine program in December 2012.

Dr. Duraski has been recognized by the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He also received a Master of Business Administration from the Auburn University Physician Executive MBA program in May 2013.

Dr. Duraski enjoys life with his wife, Anne Snow Duraski, and their two sons, Jake and Matt, both students at Auburn University.
