Dr. Sisk joined the medical staff of Dr. Robert Coggins in 2010. Together at West Georgia Physicians Gastroenterology, the two physicians, nurse practitioners and staff treat diseases of the esophagus, stomach, intestines, gall bladder, liver and pancreas, such as:

• Gastroesophageal Reflux, Heartburn (GERD)
• Colon Polyps
• Colon Cancer
• Peptic Ulcer Disease
• Inflammatory conditions of the intestinal tract such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
• Swallowing Disorders
• Pancreatitis
• Hepatitis
• Abdominal Pain
• Constipation and Diarrhea
• Rectal Bleeding

Drs. Coggins and Sisk have completed three years of speciality training in gastroenterology. Gastroenterology fellowships are only undertaken after four years of medical school and three years of internal medicine residency. This training qualifies them to perform specialized diagnostic procedures including:

• Upper Endoscopy
• Colonoscopy
• Capsule Endoscopy (Pill Cam)
